Our lawyers

Three lawyers, each at their own office

You keep the lawyer you meet first. Before you sign, the other two read your plan and say what they’d change.

  • Chiamaka Ekwueme, an older woman with short gray hair, a black jacket and a red flower brooch, smiling against a blue backdrop

    Chiamaka Ekwueme

    Founding partner, downtown office

Chiamaka opened the firm on Water Street. She handles Medicaid planning and powers of attorney, and she still takes the Saturday calls from families in a hurry.

  • Ferdinand Kettering, a man in a gray blazer and a dark red shirt, seated with his hands together against a white backdrop

    Ferdinand Kettering

    Partner, Wauwatosa office

Ferdinand handles guardianships and most hospital signings. His office is a short drive from the county medical center, and he signs in American Sign Language when a client needs it.

  • Xochitl Wojtaszek, a woman with long dark hair in a red blazer and white top, in an office

    Xochitl Wojtaszek

    Associate, Bay View office

Xochitl writes special needs trusts and works with parents of adult children with disabilities. She meets families in English or Spanish, and on Saturday mornings.

Who else picks up the phone

The people you’ll speak to between meetings.

  • Two paralegals

They take the first call, book the office and gather bank statements and deeds.

  • A notary on every signing

One of our staff, so a signing never waits on finding one.

  • A shared file

Each office reads the same family file, so you never repeat your story.
